Teri Meri Ikk Jindri Actress Amandeep Sindhu Nailing The Punjabi Bride Look For Her Reel Life Shaadi, Gets Her Mother Teary-Eyed
TV actress Amandeep Sindhu currently seen in Teri Meri Ikk Jindri shared her mother’s emotional moment when she saw her in a bridal avatar. As the ongoing track on the show focuses on Amandeep’s on-screen character Mahi tying the knot to Arjun played by Akash Mansukhani, she donned a pink & golden lehenga which left her mother overwhelmed. As reported on ETimes TV, the actress poured her heart out about her mother’s emotional moment.

She shared that her mother had tears in her eyes after she saw Amandeep in a bridal avatar and the actor too was emotional. She also shared the look she donned for her reel life Shaadi was a perfect Punjabi wedding look. She said, “Like every other mother, my mom had tears in her eyes seeing me dressed as a bride for the very first time on the show and when I got to know about that, I got pretty emotional as well. I was ecstatic about my entire look, the lehenga that I was wearing was a proper Punjabi wedding dress but a little difficult for me to handle as it weighed almost 12 to 15kgs.”

Further adding that she mentioned that while the Punjabi bride look is incomplete without kaleerein and chooda, she was also seen sporting it, making it look more authentic. “A Punjabi bride's wedding attire is incomplete without the resplendent kaleerein and I was wearing golden kaleerein along with the traditional white and red chooda, which is my most favourite bridal accessory,” she added.

Recalling her childhood memory, she shared that during her childhood she used to wear her mother or her aunt’s wedding accessories but shooting with it made the actress want to keep wearing them for days. “As a kid, I used to always wear my mom's or my aunt’s chooda and now that I was shooting for an episode with it, I actually did not want to remove it for days,” shared Amandeep. However, she agreed that shooting in such a heavy outfit was quite difficult, but to dress up like a bride is every girl’s dream. She adds, “The chooda, gajra, kaleerein, jewellery and the heavy lehenga surely made it quite a difficult process to shoot continuously, but I had a great time shooting for this track. And after all, why not? it’s every girl's dream to dress up as a bride!” ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Shefali Jariwala To Participate In Khatron Ke Khiladi 11?- EXCLUSIVE
